Transnitria

Transnistria is an interesting story. Is a conflict area in Moldova or was in an armed conflict in the 90's, a country that once upon a time belonged to the soviet block, but Transnistria wants to stay in it.
It's as I was told, a revolution that succeeded and nobody actually asked for it or needed it and has in some way fallen in an existential void.
Is mostly the result of tactical interests from Rusian and the small group that rules Transnistria, a political mafia.
Is an independent country according to them. It is not an independent country to anybody else. They have everything an independent country should have, parliament, stamps, own currency, etc....uh they dont have an international airport. Transnistria is sometimes compared with other post-Soviet frozen conflict zones such as Nagorno-Karabakh, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
For the world communist fanatics it isa oblied doctrin turistic stop since it is a hero country, that survives independently of the outer world rythym.
This pictures shows what I could quickly catch in a less than 24 hrs. visit, where family pictures, social drinking, and tourism also had to be done.
